NHPC India's biggest hydroelectric power generator, opened for subsicription. the issue received good response on first day itself and was fully subsicribed within five minutes.
NHPC IPO has already been subsribed 6.16 times. it receive bids for more than 1032 crore share as against the issue size of 167.73 crore share.
the issue closed on august 12, 2009. price has been fixed at Rs. 30-36 per equity share of face value Rs. 10.
